Just Walk Away
Why try and say "good bye" if that shit's just gonna make you want to cry?
I can hear the sigh of the lie that we'll say hi sometime around the next incoming tide
If you want to fade away into memory, I'll let it be, just don't keep stringing me
Along with misery, creating a painful history by your use of emotional puppetry
When you say "good bye" just walk away, never think "maybe" for another day
Don't stop to play in the partially molded clay you've flayed with your sharpened tongue's blade
It's just not the same without the inane game of blame that we train in to extend old pain
Why refrain from letting your vain side reign instead of taking the last train while you still have a grain
Of dignity left to your shallow personality? It's easy, just turn and walk from me
You think we shouldn't meet again, and I agree. I don't want to see you again or even keep you as a memory.
